about

artist | nature lover | creator

I am an emerging landscape and botanical artist, living and creating on the unceded lands of the Turrbul people in Meanjin/Brisbane. I have a deep love for the land I live on and I would like to express my gratitude for First Nations Peoples continued care and custodianship of Country.

my story
my art story so far

For me drawing never had a starting point - for as long as I can remember I have drawn from nature - my garden, the bushland across the road, scenes from road trips. As I grew older, university studies and life stressors left me feeling overwhelmed and with little mental energy to spare - I had lost that creative spark and couldn't even bring myself to pick up a pencil.

In 2021 I couldn't ignore the burnout anymore, and I made the hard decision to put my life on pause to recover. Gradually, creative inspiration and ideas returned. I felt the motivation to paint again for the first time in years.

Since then, my art practice has fluctuated depending on what is going on in my life and I've dabbled in various mediums, trying to find my style.

I'm not quite there yet but I feel like I'm starting to catch glimpses of it here and there. I hope you can join me on my journey of discovery.

my direction going forward

Going forward I want to explore:

  • larger, more impressionistic landscape pieces

  • conservation-based botanical artwork series

  • advocating for river restoration and raising awareness of the beauty and importance of our riverine environments through my work

My focus intentions for 2026:

  • evoking feeling and atmosphere in my work

  • conveying a sense of nature's movement

Give my art practice blog a read and connect with me on Instagram if you're interested in following my journey.
